Over the last decade, we have collectively worked closely with Kootenai Health as they re-established their brand from a local hospital to a regional health center. The exterior design of the Post Falls facility integrates the new Kootenai Health brand with the look and feel of the main campus, using similar materials and architectural elements. Patients are welcomed to the facility with a new, clearly identifiable entry under a translucent, covered canopy that fosters convenient flow of patients, staff and visitors. The Post Falls Expansion provides new areas for family medicine, internal medicine, outpatient rehabilitation, a heart clinic, and other specialty clinics, as well as the expansion of laboratory services, radiology, obstetrics & gynecology, and urgent care. Also incorporated are new community meeting rooms, laboratory services, social services offices, and Kootenai Health's "Big Blue" café.
